3D Cartesian Space
A 3D Cartesian space uses three perpendicular number lines—x (left↔right), y (down↔up), and z (back↔forward)—that meet at the origin (0,0,0). A point is an ordered triple (x, y, z). The axes follow the right-hand rule: curl your right hand from +x to +y; your thumb points to +z.
