2D Cartesian Space
A 2D Cartesian plane locates points with ordered pairs (x, y) using two perpendicular number lines: the horizontal x-axis and vertical y-axis. They intersect at the origin (0, 0). Right is +x; up is +y. The plane has four quadrants.
